Log-In Issues?

Do not create a new account if you have one already. You will not see your existing applications or certifications in a new account.
If you are unable to log into your existing account or need assistance with updating your log-in e-mail address/username, please contact the ICP Help Desk at ICPHelpDesk@api.org or call 1-877-562-5187 so that we can assist you.
You can change your log-in e-mail or password AFTER logging into the ICP Portal using your existing log-in email/username.
If you experience an error during account creation, please contact the ICP Help Desk via ICPHelpDesk@api.org to submit a request for support.

ICP Transition to Digital Credentialing

As part of our commitment to modernizing our services and improving convenience to inspectors, ICP is excited to announce that starting in June 2025, we will begin publishing digital certifications in an online format.

Your digital certification will have the same familiar look and feel as our hard-copy certifications, but with added benefits. You will be able to:

Instantly access your certifications online and direct your professional network back to view details about your accomplishments.
- No more waiting weeks to receive your paper certifications after issued
Embed a digital badge in your email signature or a personal website to provide a visual snapshot of your achievement.
Easily share your credentials with your professional network via LinkedIn
There is nothing you need to do now. Your existing and future certifications and/or recertifications will automatically be published, and you will receive an email to view your credential online.
